Mission

To commemorate in Indiana, the United States of America’s 250th Anniversary

Vision

By commemorating the USA’s 250th Anniversary, we intend to renew patriotism, honor diversity, strengthen service to our community, state, and country with the intention to enhance belief in the world’s oldest continually existing Constitutional Republic and its future.

Objectives

  1. To involve all Hoosiers/Americans in the Celebration of America 250 IN.
  2.  To emphasize the strength of Hoosier ideas, hopes, and dreams.
  3. To achieve a 250th Commemoration on which Hoosiers can reflect as a positive achievement at this time in Indiana’s and America’s history.

Warrick County Courthouse Lawn | 10am followed by reception at Main Street Baptist Church Fellowship Hall

July 5th:  America’s Potluck

The Warrick County America 250 Committee invites YOU to participate in a NATIONWIDE event!  Gather your friends and family to your local church, a campground, club organization, or even backyard and neighborhood to celebrate America’s 250th birthday!

Food and music are ways that we can connect across our community tables and bring people together to commemorate, celebrate, and look to the future.

America’s Potluck is an opportunity for neighbors to join one another to share a communal meal, creating a sense of connection and belonging and fostering interactions among people from all walks of life.

July 8th:  Reading of the Declaration of Independence
