Christkindlmarkt

The Newburgh Museum presents its Second Annual Christkindlmarkt this Christmas Season on Saturday, November 23, 2024.   The Christkindlmarkt will be open from 9am – 6:00 pm on this special Saturday before Thanksgiving to ring in the Christmas season in Newburgh.  Current plans will include under tent booth space and outdoor booth space, so plan accordingly.  Plans are in the works to also offer indoor booth space and an official announcement will be made by March 15th.

The 2nd Annual event will grow in size to 50 or more vendors and there will be plenty of Christmas lights and decorations lighting up the Christkindlmarkt area.  The vendor areas will be concentrated just north of the Newburgh Elementary School and adjacent to both the Newburgh Museum and the Zion Church of Christ.  Large areas of parking will be available along with refreshments and music.

Vendors sought are those with Christmas, Hanukkah and Holiday themed crafts and wares primarily, with a preference being for handcrafted items.  Visitors will  be looking for early Christmas presents for their friends and loved ones!   Food vendors will be accepted on a case-by-case basis if they compliment the other food items being planned by the Museum, and if accepted must be permitted by the Warrick County Health Department.  (Information will be provided if needed.)

Questions may be directed to the Newburgh Museum at (812) 853-5045 or christkindlmarkt@newburghmuseum.org.

Please apply online by filling out the application below no later than Noon on October 1, 2024.
